Georgia had started the game on the right foot, as an own goal from Le Normand had put them ahead. However, a spectacular goal from Rodri equalized the score in the first half.

Ruiz scored early in the second half with a header from a Lamine Yamal cross before substitute Olmo and Niko Williams completed a convincing victory.
The result ended debutant Georgia’s fairy tale in the tournament after a determined performance that ended successfully on a great night.
La Roja thus sealed their seventh win over Georgia in eight meetings since 2012. They next face hosts Germany in a thrilling quarter-final clash on Friday.
