Speaking at their training camp at the University of Ilorin Secondary School ground, Mallam Bola Mogaji urged the management and coaching team to parade with the best legs that will make the Kwarans happy in the impending NPFL period.
The Kwara State number one sportsman also frowned at Kwara United finishing 13th in the standings last season but, however, urged the players to work hard and finish in the top three in the 2024/25 NPFL season.
βIt is a pleasure for me to be here to support you because this team belongs to all of us and I want to pray for you, the players, so that none of you suffer injuries in the upcoming season.
βWe finished 13th in the table last season, it was not good for us, but everyone has to work hard next season and show more dedication and by the Grace of God we will play Continental again,β said Mogaji.
Responding on behalf of the players and coaching staff, Kwara United Chairman Kumbi Titiloye thanked the Chief Executive of the Sports Commission and promised that his wards would perform well in the NPFL next term.
Meanwhile, Kwara United are expected to conclude their ongoing recruitment exercise and then travel to Ikenne for this yearβs Value Jet pre-season tournament.
