*Re: Buhari’s Burial – An answer to the Hinder Declaration of the ADC
The last explosion from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as regards the burial of the state of the former President Buhari is nothing more than an opportunistic exercise in the indignation made – a laughter of an invoice from a low -amalgamated political gadget that will cling desperately to the straws by relevance that it will never reach.
This is not the first time that the Adc-Nei of his pitiful and stammering reinvention-to-sieth attempts is embarrassed with criticism and press releases cables and looking for attention. A party still struggling with an identity crisis assumes that lessons of the President of the Federal Republic on governance, decorum and public responsibility. That absolutely ridiculous.
From its appearance, the ADC has resorted to the issue of disconnected press statements on each event of passage to remind the Nigerians who now exists. In his despair of looking like an opposition party, he has now crossed every line of decency known.
Their last press release, claiming that the government of President Tinubu is “exploiting” the disappearance of the former president Muhammadu Buhari for political gain, is not only dishonest – it is an insult to millions of Nigerians who sincerely mourn the loss of a statesman and who have seen the state burial granted to Buhari with solemn respect and dignity.
Both clearly say: the ADC is the one that exploits the death of Buhari for political attention, not for this government. They chose to dance on his tomb by relevance. From the choreographed arrival of Atiku and El Rufai to Daura – greeted by songs that try to make political capital by the solemnity of the moment – to this shameful press declaration, the ADC has proven completely shameless.
For clarity, the administration of President Tinubu is neither desperate nor in search of economic popularity. This government would prefer to allow its growing list of results to speak stronger than the noisy irrelevance of groups such as the ADC.
The burial of the former President Bohari was conducted with the complete honor that he began to a leader of his stature. This is the reason why the world leaders showed up, millions of Nigerians tuned to television and through social media, and even the promoters of the ADC were falling on themselves in Daura, impairing the complex of the Buhari family as enthusiastic real estate agents that explored a new territory.
What did this administration do while the ADC ulula?
1. Naira Stabilized, harmonized exchange rates.
2. Oil production up to 1.7 MBPD.
3. Faac allocations increased by over 60%.
4. 31 States, once paralyzed by the debt, now pay wages, pensions and contractors.
5
6. Electricity restored to community for a long time dragged.
7. Infrastructure delivered: Ogbia-Nembe Road, Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, Sokoto-Badagry Road and more.
8. In theFund: about 400,000 students benefit from the historical loan scheme.
9. Regional commissions have been established to guide the balanced development at national level.
10
These are not press statements. These are results. Tangible, measurable and in progress. This is the leadership.
What does the ADC offer to the Nigerians beyond the sanctuary lament? Absolutely nothing. If the ADC has simply spent half the time it uses in press releases to manage the problems of its disenchanted members, the party does not prepare with many legal problems. This part is consumed by internal quarrels, in the face of more judicial cases for its very existence and reduced to the issue of these unfounded attacks to cling to the fringes of relevance. These strange bedmates, those to be taken seriously?
NO.
Let it be said without misunderstanding: the Nigerians are not deceived. No press declaration – however poisonous – can cancel the facts of progress. President Tinubu has honored Buhari with dignity in death and continues to honor his legacy through hard work, not empty words.
Governance continues, Nigeria is stable and President Tinubu remains focused on the delivery of the Agenda of renewed hope, not on the dignified the desperate gaps of political brushes.
The Nigerians should ignore this political noise from a dress by anximousing for attention.
