The leader of Biafra’s indigenous people, Ipob, Nnamdi Kanu, started what his special consultant, Aloy Ejimakor called “muscle legal action” against a detention supporter of President Bola Tinubu, Reno Omokri.

Kanu dragged Omokri through the High Court of Enugu for some alleged defamatory publications against him and IPob.
In an act of convocation, the leader of the Ipob requested a total sum of n60 billion as compensation from Omokri for such defamatory publications.
The upset separatist also urged the court to order the former presidential helper of keeping excuses in national newspapers for his “highly defamatory and prejudicial publications against him.
The act of convocation states in part: “General damages in the sum of n50,000,000.00 (fifty billion naira) for defamation, including injuries to reputation, emotional anguish and prejudice to the ongoing judicial proceedings.
“Damage aggravated in the sum of N10,000,000,000.00 (ten Bilion Naira) for the harmful and reckless publication of false declarations by the defendant.
“An order that addresses the accused to publish a full retraction of the defamatory declarations in two national newspapers and on the Twitter/X account of the defendant within 7 days from the court sentence.
“An order that addresses the accused to publish public apologies to the actor in two national newspapers and on Twitter/X of the defendant
Account, admit the false declaration of the facts.
“A perpetual injection that prevents its agents, private individuals from the accused or assigns further publication or dissemination of such
Defamatory or prejudicial declarations on the actor without legal justification.
“The costs of this action, including the legal costs and expenses incurred by the actor.
“Interest on all monetary prizes at the rate of L0% per year from the date of the judgment until the complete payment.”
Commenting on the legal action, Ejimakor wrote on X: “Yesterday, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu started a muscle legal action against Reno Omokri (@renoomokri), in search of a retraction, excuses and damage for the highly defamatory publications of Omokri. [Daily Post]
