ADC shifted the vetting of presidential and gubernatorial candidates to Monday

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has postponed the presidential and gubernatorial examinations previously scheduled for this weekend to Monday.

The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Bolaji Abdullahi, disclosed this in a statement on Saturday in Abuja.

He said due to the security situation in some parts of the North, the screening of National Assembly candidates would now be held in Abuja.

Abdullahi added that all affected candidates will be contacted with the latest schedule and other necessary details regarding customized screening arrangements.

He expressed regret for any inconvenience the adjustments may have caused and thanked the candidates for their understanding and cooperation.
