Alleged Killer of NSCDC officers died trying to escape in Jigawa

A main 45 -year -old suspect in the murder of an officer Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in the state of Jigawa is reported to have fallen from a moving and dead vehicle.

NSCDC spokesman in the state, Badaruddeen Tijjani, confirmed the news to journalists on Saturday at Dutse.

The officer was killed by alleged criminals in the Shuwarin Market in the Shuwarin District in the regional government of the Kivoa in the state, while on official duty.

The deceased, Bashir Adamu-Jibril, a Corps Superintendent (SC), worked at the Intelligence and Investigation Department in the command before his death.

The criminals, who were suspected to be a meat, attacked the deceased with a machete and opened the back of his head

Tijjani said the suspect was arrested on Thursday after the corps received credible information about the alleged involvement in the death of officers.

“However, when he took him to the command headquarters at high speed, the suspect miraculously released himself from the handcuffs and jumped out of the vehicle that moved in an effort to escape.

“The suspect suffered a severe injury and was rushed to the Dutse General Hospital for medical treatment, where he was confirmed to have died by a doctor on duty,” the spokesman said.
