Bode George accuses Koshodedo of the plot at the hijack lagos pdp congresses

The former national vice -president of the Democratic Party of people (PDP), the chief Olabode George, accused the national deputy secretary of the party, Setonji Koshodedo, of having sought to manipulate the imminent district and the congresses of the local government in the state of Lagos.

In an open letter addressed to the PDP Acting National President, Urar Damagum, and to the members of the National Working Committee (NWC) on Friday, George said that Koshodedo had taken control of the distribution of the forms of the congress, the leaders of the party questioned in the State.

George described the move as “unacceptable, unjust and offensive”, warning that he could trigger the chaos and legal battles that would destabilize the party in Lagos.

“It is worrying that Koshodedo, who has not been involved in party activities in the state, both financially and in another way, has collected the forms for the conferences and decided to determine the modus operandi of distributing the forms by himself,” said George.

The head of the PDP also complained that Koshodedo has ignored the efforts of the leaders of the Lagos party, including two members of the life of the Board of Trusts (Bot), to build consent between the members of the base.

“According to his actions, Koshodedo has caused acrimony and a situation that can lead to chaos, public peace disorders and judicial actions. You appeal to use your good offices to remedy this situation before you intensify,” he warned.

George also blamed the poor performance of the PDP in the 2023 elections on what he called the “self-exaltation, greed and selfish ambitions” of some individuals who, they said, have constantly worked against the interests of the party.

He revealed that the Lagos chapter was ready to pay for congress modules, provided they were distributed fairly and transparently.

The PDP has set its national convention for 15 and 16 November in Ibadan, the State of Oyo, with the conferences in the department, in the local government and in the state levels that should produce delegates in view of the convention.
