President Bola Tinubu has made new five appointments of Chief Executives for some of the agencies under the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, on Wednesday.
Those appointed are Aminu Maida, who had been the Executive Director of technology and operations at Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc (NIBSS), now appointed the Executive Vice Chairman (EVC)/CEO of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
The Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, was reappointed for a second term in office.
According to a statement issued by his special adviser on media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu also appointed Idris Alubankudi as his Special Adviser on Technology and Digital Economy.

โFurthermore, in line with President Bola Tinubuโs determination to maximally leverage on Nigeriaโs proven technological and digital economic prowess to reposition the nationโs economy toward greater financial inclusion, the President has approved the appointment of a new Special Adviser to the President.
