Brighton rules out Yohanna loan exit

Zadok Yohanna will remain at Brighton & Hove Albion during the 2026/27 campaign, with the Premier League club ruling out the possibility of sending the youngster out on loan, reports completesports.com information.

Reports had suggested Yohanna could leave on a temporary deal this summer, but Brighton are keen for the promising defender to continue his development at the club.

The 18-year-old joined the Seagulls from Swedish club AIK Stockholm in a deal worth £21.5million last month.

Brighton beat off strong competition from Newcastle United and Chelsea to sign the talented youngster.

The winger scored five goals and four assists in 18 games for AIK.

Brighton boss wants to work with Yohanna

Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler has already expressed his desire to work with Yohanna, highlighting the youngster as a player who fits into his long-term plans at the club.

“I’m looking forward to working with Zadok,” Hurzeler told the official club website.

“Having seen his games and his attributes, he is a player who can impact games in the final third.

“He is still young and will need time to adapt to the club and the Premier League, but he is an exciting player to watch and brings the kind of creativity we know our fans will enjoy.”
