Burnaboy acquires the world’s first wide-body Buggati Chiron

Grammy Award-winning artiste, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has gifted himself a new multi-million dollar Bugatti Chiron.

Dubai-based luxury car customization shop Venuum, also known as Venuum Black, has announced the creation of a bespoke carbon fiber wide body kit for the project.

The project marks Nigeria’s first Bugatti Chiron and what Venuum claims is the world’s first wide-body Bugatti Chiron.

The custom shop made this announcement via a post on its Instagram page, including a video of Burna Boy with members of the Venuum team.

“VENUUM officially created the world’s first Widebody for the Bugatti Chiron. A unique project created for someone very special to us, a member of the VENUUM family who achieved great success around the world — @burnaboygram,” read the post.

“This is not just a car. This is a completely bespoke vision, designed from the ground up to push the Bugatti Chiron into a completely different dimension.”

“In just a few weeks, the world will finally see the results. And honestly… it’s going to be pretty brutal. Something that’s never been seen before.

“We’re proud to be a part of this iconic project and even prouder to be able to create it for someone we value so much. Stay tuned… because 2026 is coming with some big surprises.”

Burna Boy had earlier shared a teaser about the car in a post on his Instagram page, saying, “I want a Bugatti Venuum Chiron, something unique, diamonds on the car and the key chain.”

However, controversy arose from the report on the car’s price. Abuja-based car dealer, @abujacar, initially claimed in a post on X that the customized Bugatti was worth ₦2 billion, but later revised the figure to ₦9 billion without providing any explanation for the change.

According to reports, the Bugatti Chiron typically sells for between $3.5 million and more than $5 million, depending on the model, rarity, and level of customization.

As of this report, neither Burna Boy nor Venuum have shared any videos or images showing the singer taking delivery of the car.

The widebody Bugatti Chiron is the latest hypercar in Burna Boy’s impressive garage, alongside other exotics such as his Lamborghini Revuelto and Rolls-Royce Spectre.
