Chelsea mock Arsenal after UCL final loss to PSG

Chelsea wasted no time mocking Arsenal after watching their rivals lose the Champions League final, The Standard reports.

Gabriel and Eberechi Eze missed penalties in the shoot-out in Budapest, after the Gunners and Paris Saint-Germain could not be separated for 120 minutes of football.

The defender, arguably Arsenal’s best player of the night, stepped up to take a penalty and had to score, but he fired the ball over the bar towards the celebrating PSG fans behind the goal.

It was a brutal end to a tense match between two of the best teams in Europe, and Chelsea were quick to get their boot in.

Posting X minutes after the match, Chelsea announced a tour of the stadium with their Champions League trophy front and center in the social media post.

“Come and visit the London Trophy Home. Book your Stamford Bridge stadium tour now,” the post read.

Chelsea remain the only London team to have won a Champions League trophy.

Kai Havertz, who scored the first goal in Budapest on Saturday night, scored the only goal of 2021 as Chelsea beat Manchester City.

That was Chelsea’s second Champions League final, having beaten Bayern Munich in 2012.

Chelsea are the only team to have won all European trophies and added the Club World Cup trophy, with the expanded tournament, last summer.
