About the artist

Faith DJ, a Malawian Christian hip-hop powerhouse, has been making waves for years as a rapper, songwriter, singer, and poet. She began her journey as a poet and gospel hip-hop concert promoter during her college years, and quickly expanded her influence by launching the popular gospel hip-hop radio show “Life Rap.” Since writing her first song in 2010 and releasing her debut single in 2015, Faith DJ has continued to impress. Her standout singles include January 2021’s “The Best Person in the World” and her critically acclaimed EP “Amazing Love,” which dropped in February 2021. Her 2021 album “Matamando” brought a fresh mix of semi-live worship hip-hop tracks, including the hit title track, along with new and beloved singles.

Today, July 15, 2024, marks another milestone with the release of her highly anticipated album CHIFUKWA. The lead single “CHIFUKWA” complete with a captivating music video, highlights Faith DJ’s artistic evolution and deep faith. The 11-track album features singles such as the hit MATAMANDO.

In addition to rhythms and rhymes, Faith DJ holds a PhD in Economics and collaborates with several international research institutions, embodying intellect and art.
