Community bids farewell to Mrs Alice Janet Obaseki as remains are buried in Ikoro

The remains of Madam Alice Janet Obaseki, mother-in-law of former Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikabade Agba, were buried on Friday at her home in Ikoro, an Ijaw community in Ovia North East Local Government Area of ​​Edo State.

Family members, church brothers, friends and political associates of Prince Agba and his wife, Princess Catherine Orobosa Agba, gathered in Ikoro to bid farewell to the Senior Mother in Israel of the Church of the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim, Alice Janet Obaseki.

Mrs. Obaseki passed away on June 9, 2024 in Abuja, leaving behind children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to mourn and bury her. She was 83 years old.

Celebrations were held in grand style in the sleepy community of Ikoro, where people received dozens of dignitaries who came to celebrate with Prince Clem and Princess Catherine Agba [nee Obaseki] the life and times of their matriarch.

The late Mrs. Alice Janet Obaseki, once a businesswoman, served God and humanity, leaving a legacy of generosity and love for her community.
