The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola, has congratulated maritime stakeholders on the occasion of this year’s Workers’ Day.
According to a statement by the Deputy Director/Public Relations Officer, NIMASA, Osagie Edward, the DG paid tribute to the passion and distinguished service of various stakeholders whose efforts continue to contribute significantly to the development of the Nigerian maritime industry.
Dr Mobereola, while wishing stakeholders a Happy Workers’ Day, said “to all the amazing officers and stakeholders in the maritime sector who bring their passion and expertise to work every day. Thank you for your dedication and valuable contributions”.
DG NIMASA underlined that, as a regulator, the Agency remains committed to its supervisory function of regulating maritime labor activities in the sector in line with existing tools and the expectations of the Workers’ Day 2026 theme, which focuses on safety, dignity and productivity
