EFCC Arrest 47 Alleged Internet Fraudsters in Edo

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has arrested 47 alleged internet fraudsters in the state of Edo.

The Head of EFCC Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, revealed this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.

He said the arrest followed a credible intelligence that connects the suspects with cheating internet activities.

The operators also restored pumping rifles and live cartridges from one of the suspects.

“Other items that are restored from them include six vehicles, cellphones and laptop computers.

“They will be charged in court as soon as the investigation is completed,” he said.
