EFCC arrests 22 suspected internet fraudsters in Edo

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 22 suspected internet fraudsters in Edo State.

The commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.

He said the suspects were arrested on Tuesday in Benin City after receiving intelligence information about their involvement in internet fraud.

“Items recovered from them included 10 exotic cars, laptops and phones.

“The suspects will be brought to justice as soon as the investigation is completed,” Oyewale said.
