Enyinnaya Kazie will leave Stellenbosch FC at the end of the season after his contract expires, with the Nigerian defender now preparing for a move abroad.

Kazie is expected to officially leave the club after Stellenbosch’s final league match against Marumo Gallants FC on 23 May, ending a short but impactful spell at the club.

The right-back joined Stellenbosch from Rivers United FC in November 2024 and has quickly become a key figure in the team. Despite being a newcomer, he fit in seamlessly, earning regular playing time and establishing himself as one of the team’s most consistent performers.

In all competitions this season, Kazie has made 35 appearances and scored two goals, underlining his importance both defensively and going forward in what has been a breakthrough season.

His performances have reportedly attracted interest from clubs outside of South Africa, with the player now keen to take the next step in his overseas career once his contract expires.

His departure will leave a notable void in the Stellenbosch set-up, given how quickly he has become a trusted and influential member of the team.
