Okan Buruk says Victor Osimhen’s return to training has provided a significant boost for Galatasaray ahead of their Turkish Süper Lig clash against Gençlerbirliği.
Osimhen returned to training on Tuesday after recovering from the arm injury he suffered in last month’s UEFA Champions League clash against Liverpool.
The injury has forced the Nigerian international to miss Galatasaray’s last three matches in all competitions.
Galatasaray’s lead at the top of the standings has been reduced to just two points in the absence of Osimhen.

Buruk highlighted the positive impact that the forward’s return will have on the squad.
“Yesterday Osimhen trained a large part of the team with the team. He is physically well and completed the session comfortably,” Buruk quoted sporox.
“The return of each player lifts the team and Osimhen is one of the driving forces. His presence in training has had a positive effect on everyone.”
Osimhen has registered 19 goals and seven assists in 29 appearances in all competitions for the Yellows and Reds this season.
