Odion Ighalo scored in Al Wehda’s Saudi Arabia Pro League fixture against Al Riyad SC at the Weekend.

Ighalo scored from the penalty spot as his team secured a 3-1 victory.

 

 

The forward now a consistent goal-scorer in the Saudi Pro League, has previously played for Al Shabab and Al Hilal.

Al Wehda took the lead with Jawad El Yamiq’s goal in the 36th minute of the encounter.

Craig Goodwin further solidified their position with a goal in the 82nd minute, but Saleh Al Abbas managed to reduced the gap for Al Riyad SC with a goal in the 86th minute, briefly unsettling the home crowd.

However, Ighalo demonstrated his clutch performance by sealing the victory for Al Wehdah in the 96th minute via penalty spot, ensuring a 3-1 triumph at the final whistle.

The Nigerian now has nine goals in 16 matches since joining the Club.
