A heated debate broke out after Nasboi declared that he would divorce his wife if she ever posted their relationship problems online. On today’s YourView, the ladies reacted strongly to the statement, arguing that if couples are comfortable sharing happy moments on social media, they shouldn’t completely hide the difficult times as well. The conversation explored privacy in relationships, the limits of social media, public validation, and whether personal issues should ever be discussed online. 1. If one is in danger and is in need of help, like in cases of domestic violence then pls climb on the mountain top and announce it, if you can.
    But for everyday domestic issues!!!
    Na!!! Not social media.
I don't think theres help there.
So yes i agree with him, when it gets to the point where i have to bring my marriage issues to social media, then it means i'm done with the marriage and don't care to return.

  2. You can see why he said that in the studio

  3. My only advice here is, "Let Parents Welcome Their Daughters Back Home, If There Is Abuse".

  4. The 1st woman to talk is just a pick me. Eww

  5. Bring it to u people so u guys will destroy his home like u have destroyed other ones that have come to social media. Una don spoil this world with broken homes everywhere and u guys want to continue. Tufiaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  6. Well, the conclusion of not bringing your matter to the social media is a good one, but a little caveat to that will be that if physical or domestic violence is involved, cry out o, so that you'll get help. Just be sure to cry out to the right quarters, because if or when death comes, all that was concealed will still be revealed to an even wider audience.

  7. I like Nimat's view on the matter. If your matter will not be brought to the public, be sure to settle it properly in private, so there'll be no need for any public brouhaha.💯

  8. What is open support talk to your family instead

  9. A woman that has a serious issue like abuse or the like don't need to stay in that marriage in the first place, so bringing it to the public would make no difference in the Nasboi statement because it is most likely to end in divorce and lawsuit….. But if it's minor issues like how e doesn't clean, he wants her to cook always and stuff like that….. Bringing issues like that to the public is stupid….. Even cheating is a private issue, not a public issue…. It is up to you to decide to leave or stay, not the public….. The public would only use you to catch cruise and shame your husband and you if you decide to stay.

  10. 13:38 Noooo Rahmatu differs , respect her opinion.

  11. 9:47 try n play clips of the topic you are discussing. I dont even know who Nasboi is or what he said .. 🤦🏽‍♀️

  12. One of the ladies has just made a point that I have shared on YouTube a few times in the past.
People are shocked when social medial in-laws insist on sticking their noses in their business but the problem is, by choosing to share your private business in the good times, you invite the busybodies to sit at your table.

  13. Nasboi is absolutely right.

  14. @faroukbello3956 I don't think so he has got married, is just emphasise on it…

  15. I don't think he is wrong though, because at the end of his speech, he mentioned that our education system needs work. That encompasses all of your recommendations

  16. Ohh its good to see this lady in yello dress, she was once working in WAZOBIA FM,i think 2014/2015,i was there for a short period for internship from the Nigerian Broadcasting Communication Academy….she was so hospitable, kind and taught me alot ,really good to see that you've grown in your career. The funny thing is i can't remember her name, buh can't forget her face and how kind she was to me.

  17. Will the social media solve the issues..

  18. I will do the same also.. Why bring your issues to social media…

  19. Let me get this straight, is he actually married ?

  20. Na wa o!! You allowed Nyma & Moyo to speak but didn't give Rahmatu enough time… why? Because she has a different opinion?

    Getting tired of this programme🥱🥱

  21. It sounds as if he s doing his wife favour by marrying her . .
If there is issue in their marriage, since he's a celebrity,Nas soon as it leaks , it will still get to the social media directly or indirectly

  22. Even if you need to exhale, that what's friends are for and family. Social Media cannot be the only place you think exhaling can occur, except you're looking for sympathy and popularity, followers

  23. Nasboy isn't married yet, so he is free to define the rules that should govern his marriage. 👍
I'm with him on this one, there's no love in the social media space. If after much effort, one's marriage is no longer working, dissolve it without any social media drama 👍

  24. While I can understand that bringing marital matters to social media often amplifies these issues, due to the prevalence of abuse in marriages with both women & men falling victims, I think it's essential for each partner in a marriage to have access to a safe space where they can discuss if marital issues become too overwhelming. Ideally, this should be with a professional and qualified therapist who will likely offer a balanced, non-sentimental, & objective view than family members and friends.
