Imo SWAN supports “UCL Final Watch With Puyaka & Friends” in Owerri

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Imo State Chapter has thrown its full support behind the upcoming “UCL Final Watch With Puyaka & Friends” scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the Maximaobi International Hotel, Spibat Road, next to the Rochas Foundation Roundabout, Umuodu Mbieri, Owerri.

The event, organized by SWAN Imo Chapter President, Cosmos Chukwuemeka, popularly known as “Puyaka Master”, is designed to offer football lovers, sports stakeholders and entertainment enthusiasts a unique atmosphere to experience the UEFA Champions League Final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal.

SWAN Imo described the initiative as a laudable platform that promotes sports entertainment, unity and healthy social interaction among youths and football enthusiasts in the state.

The association noted that in addition to the experience of watching live games, the event will also include music, comedy shows, swimming, games and exciting betting and winning activities aimed at creating lasting memories for participants.

The body also encouraged football fans, corporate organizations and sports enthusiasts across Imo State and beyond to identify with the event, which promises a mix of premium hospitality and world-class football entertainment.

SWAN Imo also commended the organizer for consistently using sports as a tool for engagement and development within the state.
