JUST IN: INEC declares Uzodinma winner of Imo governorship contest

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday morning declared incumbent governor, Hope Uzodinma as winner of the Imo State governorship election held on Saturday.

The INEC Returning Officer for the state, Prof Abayomi Fashina, announced Uzodimma, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner having secured 540,308 votes.
