Kano government files new charge against Ganduje – TrendyNewsReporters

The Kano State government has filed fresh charges against former governor Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.

The charges, detailed in Case No. K/143c/24, allege criminal conspiracy and embezzlement involving Ganduje and the former Commissioner for Justice, Musa Lawan. These charges are brought under Section 308 and are punishable under Section 309 of the Penal Code (as amended) CAP 105, Vol. 2, Laws of Kano State of Nigeria.

The charges also cite Sections 97 and 315, accusing Ganduje and Lawan of abuse of office. The state government has indicated its intention to produce four witnesses in the case.

No date has been set for the preliminary hearing at this time.
