LP forms committee to instill discipline in members

The Labor Party has set up a seven-member disciplinary committee to curb excessive actions by party members.

LP National Chairman Julius Abure told journalists on Tuesday in Abuja that the decision was one of the resolutions reached at the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) meeting.

He appealed to all members to obey the rules and respect the party constitution.

Abure said: “All party members are obliged to respect the integrity and dignity of the party and its leadership.

He said the committee was headed by the party’s National Legal Adviser, Kehinde Edun.

Other members of the committee are Chief Clement Ojukwu, National Vice Chairman, Dr. Ayo Olorunfemi and National Women Leader, Mrs. Dudu Manuga.

Others are the Imo branch Chairman, Callistus Ihejiagwa, his Kano State counterpart, Alhaji Raji Mohammed, and the National Secretary, Alhaji Umar Ibrahim.
