Makinde declares 2027 presidential ambition

The governor urged opposition leaders to unite against what he described as a deliberate attempt by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to turn Nigeria into a one-party state.

He said Nigeria’s political landscape was no longer a democracy that guaranteed equality for opposition parties without interference from the ruling party.

Therefore, Makinde called on Nigerians not to just be spectators and observers of politics.

He assured that with the collective participation of all voters, Nigeria will register historic change in the 2027 elections.
