The Mamlodi Sundowns South African champions won their opening game at the Club World Championships Tuesday while the striker Iqraam Rayners scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory over the Olsan HD of South Korea.
The result put in the standings the second group F African Champions League this month after Borussia Dortmund was kept 0-0 from Fluminense at the beginning of the day.

Rayners’ goal came nine minutes before the interval at the Inter & Co stadium in a match that was delayed by just over an hour due to the threat of lightning in the central florida.
