Naf killed 25 alleged boko warrior fighters in Borno, Yobe

The Nigerian Air Force (Naf) has killed more than 25 suspects in terrorist Boko Haram in coordinated operations in the states of Borno and Yobe.

Director of Public Relations and Information, Naf, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, revealed this in a statement on Saturday in Abuja.

He said the package of intelligence strength, supervision, and reconnaissance assets (ISR) and Serang aircraft tracked the terrorist movement and identified several groups north of BANKI, Borno State, in operations conducted on September 18, following intelligence from land forces.

“The strike aircraft involved terrorists in three successive precision attacks on their movements and assembly areas, effectively neutralizing more than 25 fighters.

“Post-attack supervision confirmed that land forces remain in a defensive position, without any further threats observed,” the spokesman added.
