Nigerian government says man wanted for defiling his 3-year-old daughter

The Federal Government has awarded N1 billion to Magnus Okpalannadi who allegedly defiled his three-year-old daughter.

Minister of Women Affairs, Ms Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, announced the move in a statement issued on Wednesday by the ministry’s Head of Information and Public Relations, Ms Grace Njoku.

He said: “The Ministry received a report that Okpalannadi, a resident of Onitsha, Anambra State, had sexually abused his minor daughter.

“When he was discovered, he disappeared before he could be caught.

“President Bola Tinubu’s government has zero tolerance for violence and child abuse.

“Therefore, it will be ensured that pedophiles are immediately prosecuted to provide a deterrent effect for potential perpetrators.”
