Nigerian U-17 star ‘New Lookman’ joins Swedish squad after failed Atalanta move

Nigerian Under-17 winger Bidemi Amole, generally known as the new Ademola Lookman, has joined Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Dubbed the new Lookman due to his similar playing style and similar role to senior international Ademola Lookman, who also played for the Italian team, the left winger who turned 18 in November was part of the Nigeria U20 squad under coach Aliyu Zubairu, playing in seven games with one goal to his name.

Respected Italian publication TMW reported that Atalanta were in advanced talks to sign him, but the move did not see the light of day and today IF Brommapojkarna revealed him with an undisclosed years deal.

He will hope to make an instant impression like former Ikon Allah prospect Zadok Yohanna, who has been a revelation in the league for AIK.
