Okpebholo begins the repair works on Auchi-Igarra-Ibillo Federal Road

The governor of the state of Edo, senator on Monday Okpebholo, approved the total rehabilitation of over forty-five portions failed on the federal road-igarra-hybillo.

The Actipn, as it is believed, will revive the economic activities in the cities and villages in the area of ​​the local government of Akoko Edo of the State.

The latest approval is coming, just as the state government has completed the construction of the Ikakhumoh road of Ikiran-Oke, also in the local government of Akoko Edo.

The Auchi-Rora-Ilibo road is one of the many deplorable federal roads in the Edo State rehabilitated by the governor of the administration led by Okpebholo.

The road that connects many communities in the local government of Akoko Edo to the rest of the state also acts as a link between the states of Kogi and Ondo. It serves as an important path for vehicles that go around the Lagos of Abuja.

The contractor who manages the project, Bajwa Hammed, after a preliminary tour of the road, assured that the people of Akoko Edo that all the failed sections would be completely rehabilitated to satisfy the maximum standard.

“There are many points that have failed on this path, which must be made quickly for the safe passage of people and vehicles. I know the standard that the governor wants and will deliver to us.”
