Olise wins the award for the best French player abroad

Michael Olise has been chosen as the best French player playing abroad after an impressive season with Bayern Munich.

Olise had his reward against a prestigious competition made up of Rayan Cherki (Manchester City), Hugo Ekitike (Liverpool), Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid) and William Saliba (Arsenal).

After a full season in Germany, Olise quickly established himself as one of the most decisive players of the Bavarian team by being voted best passer in the Bundesliga and the Champions League, with a total of 22 goals and 28 assists.

A well-deserved trophy for the French international, who quickly established himself in the Blues.

Speaking after receiving the award, Olise said (via French Football Weekly): “I’m very grateful, I wanted to thank everyone at Bayern Munich, I can’t wait to give it my all at the World Cup this summer, with the France team.”

Olise helped France reach the final of the Paris 2024 Olympics football event, where they lost to Spain.

He is expected to be part of the French team taking part in this year’s FIFA World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
