i think the idea that men who speak about women's issues are just trying to get laid is so harmful. why do all men have to have an ulterior motive? if we want them to genuinely stand by us and support us in the face of harm, the sentiment should not be that they're doing it for the same reason as the abusers. women already feel that we cannot trust anyone, and maybe that can be true, but why spread the narrative farther that men are irredeemable? they can be good, and we need more trustworthy men in the world. men thinking that there is nothing they can do to connect with women just makes the problem worse

I hate to compare the two but Oscar from Just Trish does a great job of explaining dramas to Trish without using visuals and they have a very organic conversation about it.
Here I feel like the PowerPoints are relied on too much which can lead to info being missed, awkward dead air, etc. I feel like a PowerPoint format can still be used, but only for visual aspects and key points to enhance the conversation.
