Former female housemate of Big Brother Naija (BBN) reality TV show, Tacha Akide has rallied support for Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham who has been receiving heavy criticism from trolls for reportedly arresting a user X who defamed her, along with her mother.
The exuberant reality TV star in a post shared on her X account on July 10, 2024, questioned why the actress should bear the brunt of trolls for supporting President Bola Tinubu.
Tacha wrote; “I don’t understand the constant bullying of someone for voting for their candidate of choice. Just as you have voted for your candidate of choice, everyone has the right to vote for their candidate of choice.
”The same way you see qualities in your candidate is the same way others see them.”

Tacha used the platform to discuss Toyin’s political beliefs and the backlash she received after she was accused of using the police to arrest a troll. She also expressed her displeasure at what she saw as unfair criticism.
”This has nothing to do with whether Toyin Abraham is a public figure or not, or whether you are just an ordinary citizen,” he explained.
