Osun State Polytechnic Iree Alumni Association has lauded Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke over the appointment of a member, Comrade Ebby Olusegun Ige as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on mobilisation.
Ebby, has fondly call, is a social mobiliser, political analyst and a union leader with decades of experience in activism and politics.
Ebby is the immediate past National Publicity Secretary of the association.
In a statement signed by the National President of OSPOLY IREE Alumni, Alhaji Yakub Akeem Adebayo and the National Publicity Secretary, Adekunle Sikiru in Osogbo, Saturday in Osogbo, the Osun state capital, expressed delight in the Governor’s gesture.
While congratulating the newly appointed SSA to the governor from Ospoly Alumni, the association thanked the governor for recognising Ospoly Alumni member in his cabinet.
The association described Comrade Ige Olusegun Ebby as “a vibrant person who used his influential capacity and grass root mobilization strength to support the current administration of governor Ademola Adeleke throughout the campaign activities.”
The Ospoly Alumni expressed satisfaction with the appointment of comrade Ige Olusegun Ebby as the Senior Special Assistant to the governor, adding that, the association will not relent in collaborating with government in repositioning educational sector of the state.
Comrade Ige Olusegun Ebby is the current Secretary of the Constitutional Review Committee of the association who has served in various capacities as the state and National executive member of Osun state Polytechnic Iree Alumni Association.
