The Coordinator of the groups, Michael Chukwujekwu, in a statement recently expressed concern that the hardship, thuggery, deprivation and killings became intense during and after the 2023 polls.

According to him, citizens expect a Nigeria where citizens of the working ages could take leadership and take Nigerian forward in the current digital era, without fear of favours, alliances, and external political interferences.

“They said that the help Nigeria needs ought to come from within Nigeria and Nigerians themselves.

“They maintained that such help and solutions to the electoral process and governance can only be achieved through selfless commitment to Nigeria.
Also, through firm commitments to the youths, children of Nigeria, the grand children and children unborn.

“They condemned the act of violence, thuggery, deprivation, disenfranchisement, and killings that culminated Nigeria election of 2023, which raised the citizens and world expectations

“They observed that Nigeria citizens expect a Nigeria where citizens of the working ages could take leadership and take Nigerian forward in the current digital era, without fear of favours, alliances, and external political interferences

“A Nigeria where the human and economic capital endowed with natural and mineral resources could not stand against her in Judgement for neglect and non utilisation. Yet impoverishing in debt and consistent borrowing. A Nigeria where the life and welfare of citizens matter.

“The country is getting worse due to the pains, humiliations, denials, ever increasing cost of living, insecurity, banditry, boko haram, unknown-gun-men, kidnapping, illicit drugs dealings, harassment and jungle justice.

“Also, privatisation of the judiciary seems to intensionally murder the sleep in Nigeria.

“What option is left?
Sleep is murdered, and the uncertainty of daily square meals has become a continuous source of depression to families. There is no one to cry to! The
masses are mocked by the perpetrators of the Nigeria’s sorry state.

‘if there is a time for a turn-around in Nigeria for the sake of posterity, it is now.’ Yes, the time is now for citizens to take back their country,” he said.
