PSC promotes CP Lagos and seven others to AIG

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has promoted the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fayoade Adegoke, and seven others to the next rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG).

PSC Head of Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, confirmed the development in a statement on Friday in Abuja.

Others promoted are CP, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Benneth Igwe, Acting Assistant Inspector General of Police, PAB, Police Headquarters Abuja, Suleiman Abdul, CP, Ebonyi State, Augustina Nwuka Ogbodo and CP, Admin, Works, Police Headquarters Abuja, Stephen Olanrewaju.

The rest are CP, Abia State, Kenechukwu Onwuemelie, CP Admin, FID, Abuja, Adegboyega Adegboye, and CP Communication DICT Force Headquarters, Abuja, Mohammed Bala Labbo.

Ani added that 15 Deputy Police Commissioners (DCP) were promoted to CP.
