An unidentified man stormed the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja and demanded the party reward him or kill him.
The man was seen in a viral video holding a placard reading “Reward me or kill me,” claiming that the party abandoned him after he sold his house to campaign for the 2023 election.
The man, wearing a blue APC branded shirt, said he no longer had money to pay his children’s school fees and was forced to entrust it to the party’s Head of Security.
The one-person protest captured on video had been circulating on Facebook since Thursday evening before being shared widely on X with the account @dammiedammie35, where it went viral.

In the footage, the man paces at the entrance of the secretariat in the sunlight, holding up his placard and shouting his complaints towards the building, while security guards stand nearby and bystanders watch, some of whom are recording on their mobile phones.
“I sold my house because of debt, it seems I owe APC. Because of my job working at APC,” he said in the video.
When bystanders asked who sent him, the man pointed to his APC-branded shirt and replied, “These are the people who sent me.”
He said his sacrifice was related to his party’s campaign in the 2023 general election, after which he did not receive any compensation.
“This is work I did for the APC and in the end there was no reward. In fact the CSO threatened to shoot me and nothing happened,” he said.
The man added that the whereabouts of his children were unknown to him after he left them at the party secretariat out of desperation.
“Since yesterday my children don’t know where they are. I left my children with CSO and APC because I can’t look after them anymore. I can’t pay school fees anymore,” he said.
The banner he carried in full read: “All Progressive Congress. Reward me or kill me. I am a party man and not a madman. I have lost a lot for the party. I am depressed and my health is affected.”
No party officials were present during his protest, nor had the party given an official reaction to the incident at the time of filing this report.
