Ronaldo wins Saudi Arabia’s first league title

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Al Nassr cruised to a 4-1 win over Damac on Thursday to secure the 2025/26 Saudi Pro League title on the final day of the season.

The Portuguese forward put in a superb performance to help Al Nassr to their first league crown since 2019 and also claimed his first major trophy in Saudi Arabia.

Al Nassr took control of the game from the start, with goals from Sadio Mané and Kingsley Coman giving the team a 2–0 lead in the opening 51 minutes.

Ronaldo extended the lead in the 62nd minute with a well-taken free kick before adding his second goal of the night in the 80th minute to seal a landslide victory and seal the title.

The veteran striker was later named Man of the Match after his decisive performance.

Al Nassr finished the campaign two points ahead of Al Hilal to lift the title.

For Ronaldo, the victory marked his first league title since leading Juventus to the Serie A crown in 2020.

The 41-year-old has now won league titles in England, Spain, Italy and now Saudi Arabia, along with his five UEFA Champions League titles.
