5.Mubarak Suleiman
The youngster scored again for Czech champions Slavia Praha on the final matchday, beating Viktoria Plzen 3-0. The Nigerian Right2Win Academy attacking midfielder has shown in his first season in senior football that he certainly has a future, both with his goals from midfield and his overall play.
4.Fisayo Dele-Bashiru
The Super Eagles midfielder scored his first Serie A goal of the season on the final day and it was worth the wait. He made a smart turn inside the area before drilling his shot past the Pisa goalkeeper to inspire a Lazio comeback. It now remains to be seen if he will remain at the Italian club as he does not appear to have a future there under current manager Maurizio Sarri.
3.Semi Ajayi
The Super Eagles defender was solid as lowly Hull City created an organized defensive line to keep Middlesbrough at bay before they scored a devastating stoppage-time goal to book their ticket back to the Premier League nine years after being relegated. He also achieved promotion to the Premier League with West Bromwich Albion in the 2019/2020 season. It has been a change of fortune for Ajayi after West Brom did not give him a new contract and he had to join Hull City as a free agent. The former Arsenal Academy graduate will return to play in the Premier League after doing so with West Brom.
2. Kelechi Iheanacho
The forgotten Super Eagles star is back on top after scoring in the Scottish Cup final for Celtic to seal a league and cup double in a most turbulent campaign that saw them change managers. His class is undoubted and after a slow start at Celtic, ‘Seniorman’ has earned a future at the Glasgow giants. Celtic have the option to give him a new contract after he signed as a free agent 10 months ago from Spanish side Sevilla. It would be a big mistake if they didn’t.

1.Paul Onuachu
The giant forward ended Trabzonspor’s losing streak in the Turkish Cup final with two goals against Konyaspor in this year’s final. His club had lost the last two cup finals, but Onuachu made sure to stop this bad run with the goals that gave them their tenth cup win. He was named Man of the Cup Final and finished the season with 26 goals in all competitions. Fans will now hope he finally carries that form over to the Super Eagles.
