Selection of Sela: 100 Alleged Political Thugs Arrested in Kano

The Independent Election Commission in Kano State has confirmed the arrest of 100 alleged political thugs during the ongoing selection in the Bagwai Regional Government in the state.

Commissioner of the State Election State, Bpk. Abdu Zango, confirmed the development of journalists after examining the election in Bagwai City on Saturday.

He said the suspects were found to have different weapons.

Zango, however, expressed satisfaction with the election.

According to him, the election officer was given the material needed in all designated voting units.

However, he acknowledged that there were some delays in the process due to logistics and thug problems, which were reduced by effective security.
