Shettima arrives at Ekiti airport on a working visit and inaugurates the projects

Vice President Kashim Shettima, on Tuesday, arrived at the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport, Ado-Ekiti, on a one-day working visit to the State.

The Vice President arrived aboard a Presidential aircraft with registration number 5N-FGW at exactly 10.24am and was received by Governor Biodun Oyebanji, his Ondo State counterpart, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Chief (Mrs.) Monisade Afuye, the Leader of the Senate, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, and former State Governor, Eng. Segun Oni, Speaker of the House of Assembly of Ekiti State, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye and members of the State Executive Council.

After a brief airport ceremony, Vice President Shettima proceeded to the Ekiti Knowledge Zone (EKZ) along Ijan Road, Aso Ekiti where he performed the grand unveiling ceremony of the landmark project.

He later went to the newly built zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) where he committed the project.

The visit marks Shettima’s second official visit to Ekiti State after making a working visit to the State in early June 2024 where he inaugurated the Omisanjana-Deeper Life-Ajebandele road and the MSMSE clinic in Ado-Ekiti, among other activities.
