Showtime Bowl Series XIII: Panthers Roar, Knights Rise and Rebels Spark Lagos Flag Football Drama

The Showtime Bowl XIII series turned on lakes again in week 2, since fans were treated with high intensity flag football, exciting edges and dramatic changes in the classification.

The Warriors Flag Football defenders flexed their muscles with a 53-15 dominant victory over Lekki’s braves, but despite the emphatic victory, they passed a place to third place. The Braves, who are still looking for a form, remain rooted at the bottom of the table in tenth part.

The Athletic Knights of Lagos produced one of the most outstanding performances of the day, crushing the continental lengths 47-0. The ruthless screen of the Knights raised them from third to second, while the long horns slid to the ninth.

The greatest jolt came from the Lagos rebels, who surprised Lagos Raptors with a 37-15 victory. The resurgence of the rebels saw them up the eighth to fifth in the classification, while the Raptors moved slightly upwards in eighth place despite the loss.

In the upper part, the Panthers sports reinforced their domain with a overwhelming 44-0 whiter from the backback flag football, maintaining their number one position per second consecutive week. However, backbacks fell seventh after a difficult excursion.

Meanwhile, Ikan Sports surpassed the Football of Lagos Alpha 40-14, winning a vital ascent to fourth place. Alpha, on the other hand, slid from the room to sixth.

Upon spending two weeks, the Panthers are still the team to overcome, but the gentlemen and the warriors are quickly closing, while surprise packages such as the rebels are demonstrating that anything is possible in this year’s league.

From the electric atmosphere within Showtime Arena to the fierce battles of the lawn, the Showtime Bowl series is demonstrating once again why it is the main soccer league of the Flag of Africa, a true sport, entertainment and community festival.
