Teacher found dead in class at Kings College, Lagos

A 48 -year -old teacher at Kings College, Lagos, Mr. Ezekiel Akano, was found on Saturday evening found dead in mysterious circumstances within one of the school rooms.

Police sources referred to the security and the analyst of Insurrection, Zagazola Makama, that the vice principal of the school, Mr. Oguniyi Ayodele, made the report to the Lagos State Police Command around 19:40

According to police sources, Ayodele said he was notified of the discovery of the lifeless body of Akano in the school premises located at n. 3, Catholic Mission Street, Lagos Island.

A team of investigators was immediately sent to the scene, which was isolated for investigations.

Photographs of the scene were taken and a close inspection did not show visible signs of violence on the body.

The deceased, originally from the State of Oyo, was then transported to the hospital of the island of Lagos, Odan, where a doctor confirmed him dead on arrival.

His remains were deposited with the hospital morgue for conservation and autopsy to determine the actual cause of death.

The police said he had started a complete investigation on the accident and ensured the public that all the necessary measures were taken to reveal the circumstances that surround the sudden death. (Zagazola Makama)
