The Director General of the Fake Agency, Adeniyi was charged in court

The Director General of the allegedly fake government agency, Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC) Adeniyi Adeyemi was on Wednesday arraigned before the Federal High Court, Abuja for alleged forgery

Adeyemi was arraigned before Judge Muhammad Umar on eight counts bordering on allegations of forgery.

The Federal Government accused Adeyemi of forging an appointment letter purportedly issued by President Bola Tinubu and signed by the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Police had earlier transferred Adeyemi to court on Wednesday for his arraignment, under heavily armed guard.

Adeyemi has been in police custody since his arrest.
