The kidnapped nurse begged to be saved because the kidnapper demanded a ransom of N50M

Two women who were kidnapped in the nasarawa state on Sunday night remained in captivity because their kidnapper demanded a ransom of N50 million for their liberation.

One of the victims, a mother and wife of a nurse from a local priest, said to be in a critical state, both physically and emotionally, after experiencing difficulties in the forest.

According to family sources in the lafia, the victims have experienced hard treatment and were forced to travel far by armed kidnappers, which are believed to be kidnappers. One woman was identified as a member of the Church of the Priest who was brought with his wife.

The priest’s wife, who was just giving birth, was reportedly very traumatized by the ordeal. The separation from the baby, made worse by the challenges of his health, has made the situation more terrible.

“He was truly worried about his health and separation from his three-month-old baby. The hostile environment and inhuman care pose a serious threat to his survival,” the source said.

His despair is clear in the emotional request that is heard by the family: “My baby, my baby … please, who will help me get out of this disaster? Someone please help me out of this painful forest,” he exclaimed.

Women’s husband and other relatives remain confused, saying the ransom of N50 million requested by the kidnappers is beyond their reach. The family asked the authorities to immediately enter to help secure their release.

Simpatizer has joined the call for government actions and urgent security interventions to ensure safe returns from the two women. This incident has triggered a greater concern over the increase in abduction in all parts of the state and the risks faced by vulnerable groups such as nursing mothers.

The families of the two women who are still in captivity continue to ask for quick action, hoping that the people they love can be saved before it’s too late.
