Trabzonspor have made an official approach to Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Tolu Arokodare, submitting a loan offer as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Turkish Süper Lig side are the first club to have reportedly made a formal offer for the Super Eagles striker this summer, with both clubs already in negotiations. Wolves have yet to make a decision on the proposal.
Arokodare joined Wolves from Genk last summer after a goalscoring campaign that put him on the radar of several European clubs. The Super Eagles striker established himself as one of Belgium’s most exciting strikers, scoring 41 goals and providing 12 assists in 113 appearances in all competitions. His performances also earned him the 2025 Ebony Shoe award before sealing his move to Molineux.
His first season in England, however, proved much more difficult. Arokodare struggled to replicate the form that made him one of the Belgian Pro League’s most prolific forwards, managing just three Premier League goals as Wolves endured a disappointing campaign that ended with relegation to the Championship.
Trabzonspor view the 25-year-old as a key addition to their squad and have submitted a loan offer to Wolves for the Nigerian striker. . Although the Turkish club have made the first official offer, Wolves are understood to prefer a permanent transfer, with other clubs also monitoring the striker’s situation.
