The report said troops of Operation SAVANNAH SHIELD rescued kidnapped victims in Kwara after they confronted suspected kidnappers in the forest and forced them to abandon their captivity and flee.

He added that troops under Operation MESA in Kogi State arrested two suspected terrorists during an offensive operation at their hideout in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of ​​the state.

“The operation resulted in the arrest of two suspects in Kakuma and Ijumu communities, as well as the recovery of four motorbikes and two chainsaws.

“The suspects and items found were handed over to the Nigerian Police for further action.

“Similarly, troops at Forward Operating Base Afaka in Igabi Local Government Area of ​​Kaduna State arrested a suspected terrorist.

“The suspect admitted during the initial investigation that he fled from the terrorist camp due to internal clashes between rival leaders identified as Dogo Gide and Kabiru along the Kachia–Kagarko–Chikun axis,” the report said.
