The Defense Headquarters claimed on Friday that troops deployed to the operation site killed several terrorists in several parts of the country.
They also rescued at least 179 people who were kidnapped in operations carried out between May 25 and 28.
Director of Defense Media Operations Maj. Gen. Michael Onoja, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday in Abuja, highlighted the continued military pressure in various areas of operations.
Onoja said Operation Hadin Kai troops killed suspected terrorists in Taraba and Borno States.
They also arrested a suspected collaborator in Monguno.

The spokesperson said: “Continued attacks prompted the recent surrender, and a family member of a terrorist fled the Kimbe enclave in Borno due to mounting pressure.
“Troops also repelled a group of terrorists along the Bam-Buratai axis, neutralizing five fighters, while four others were eliminated in an ambush in Yobe.
“In the North West, Operation Fansan Yamma troops arrested suspects linked to terrorist groups in Kebbi and Zamfara states, and also killed three terrorists in separate encounters.
” hey also rescued 31 kidnap victims in Zamfara following an air interdiction by the Nigerian Air Force.”
