UCL: Saka’s goal sends Arsenal to Budapest

Arsenal striker Bukayo Saka scored the only goal as Arsenal beat Atletico Madrid to reach their second Champions League final on Tuesday night.

Both teams went into the match feeling hopeful after a 1-1 draw in Madrid, but it was Arsenal who came through at the end of the match.

In the 44th minute Jan Oblak fails to hold onto Leandro Trossard’s shot and Saka makes no mistake and deflects it into the net.

The victory sends Arsenal to Budapest where they will face the winner between Bayern Munich and reigning champions PSG in the final on 30 May.

Arsenal’s only previous appearance in a Champions League final came in 2006, when they lost to Barcelona.
