Wase supports Tinubu’s reforms and praises Mutfwang for the projects

Member representing Wase Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase, expressed support for the ongoing economic reforms implemented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying that despite the suffering, these are “necessary steps” to ensure a secure future for Nigeria.

Wase, who served as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives in the 9th National Assembly (2019-2023), also praised the transformative infrastructure projects executed by the Barr administration. Caleb Mutfwang in Plateau State.

In a personally signed statement, the lawmaker, who is in his fifth term in the House of Representatives, said President Tinubu deserves accolades for his determination to eradicate insecurity in the country.

According to him: “While recognizing that as a nation we still face some challenges, especially in terms of security, it must be admitted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu came into office as our leader with uncommon zeal and determination in tackling the myriad of problems his administration inherited.

“Much more, Mr. President has continued to galvanize the nation’s top security and economic sectors towards improving the livelihoods of Nigerians,” he added, stressing that it was imperative to recognize and commend President Tinubu’s three years of “resilient and purposeful management” of the nation.

“Mr President’s progressive socioeconomic reforms and strategic foresight have revived hope across the length and breadth of Nigeria,” Wase said, adding that President Tinubu has demonstrated that even in the face of global economic tides, his administration “possesses the cerebral courage to lead our nation to a safe and prosperous enclave.”

Commenting on Barr. In the three years Mutfwang served as governor of Plateau State, the lawmaker said the administration “brought a visible stronghold of inclusive growth, peace and systemic development to the state.”

He acknowledged some of the governor’s achievements in such areas, urban renewal and road infrastructure projects, the ‘Metro Bus’ transit initiative meant to ease commuter woes within the Jos-Bukuru axis, as well as health, education and agricultural administration projects, such as the modernization of the Plateau State Specialist Hospital with new pediatric wards and laboratories, the renovation of dilapidated public schools across the state and the improvement of local agricultural access routes in places like Bassa, Wase and Langtang.

Wase concluded by pledging the support of the people of Wase Federal Constituency to the Tinubu and Mutfwang administrations at the federal level and in Plateau State respectively. “We remain committed to working side by side with you to ensure a prosperous, peaceful and united Nigeria and a secure and thriving Plateau State,” he said.
